Valid Concerns But Analysis & Conclusion Insufficient
You are correct that big change is ahead. Technology is moving us to a post-scarcity, post-capitalist world. The transition will be painfully uneven for most absent unique political foresight and tangible mitigating action such as you suggest, which is unlikely given how the political system currently operates. Also, the likelihood of the role ascribed to/for AI is exceedingly small given geopolitical competition,
Basically the context for your assessment of capitalism as an economic system, technology, especially AI, and the political system reflect discreet linear change processes. However, all three reflect evolving systems — complex adaptive systems. As such, the larger evolutionary processes at work indicate non-linear change.
My medium publication, A Passion to Evolve, has numerous articles you might find of interest. One narrowly focused on relationship of capitalism and technology is titled, Funny Thing About Money and Machines. As for the role of AI, there is an article, which also appeared in TechCrunch, titled, Why You Should Fear Artificial Intelligence.
All of these threads are pulled together, as you seek to do here, in a longer, but detail analysis titled, Macroscopic Evolutionary Paradigm.
