Okay. But There Is Still More to Evolution

What you say is valid, but there is more. First, increasingly appears the key amino acids exist on meteors and thus both widespread and seeds for life on earth. Second, Dawkins has another book that may be more important than Selfish Gene, Extended Phenotype.

In this respect, biological evolution exists within a still larger evolutionary context. This larger frame is about maximizing evolvabilty. On my Medium publication, A Passion to Evolve, there are numerous articles addressing this topic. A longish, but readable big picture description is one entitled, Macroscopic Evolutionary Paradigm.

Finally, it increasing appears that a dominant feature of the brain-mind system is scenario building, and that this capability may be an innate driver of biological evolution.
