Good Theory But Too Much To Be Practical

Personally, AR is great benefit. But your apple example actually surfaces a real problem. No one wants to be standing in front on counter full of apples and examining each one for all or some of the characteristics you offer. Nor would we want to do this with everything we buy.

At some point all a consumer/user wants is something like — these 5–10 apples in this space are the best given xyz in this category. It is not that we are not concerned or lazy. Rather, there is already too much information, and not enough knowledge. Too little time, which grows more valuable as the quantity of information increases.
