Evolution Implies Nothing About Easy & We Want Better

Understand intent here but you went off the rails a bit. There is nothing in any literature that implies evolution is concerned with making life “easy” in any way, shape or form. The planet is indifferent. While people certainly want life to be easier, my guess is that making life better would find greater resonance and encompass easier.

The fact is, evolution at all scales of evolving systems is actually about maximizing the evolvability of the respective system.
